I want to inspire readers to travel and follow their dreams. How? By telling unique stories of internships, travels and adventures as The Backpacker Intern. I use professional photography, post videos and I’m very active on social media. Besides being active on the web and writing for companies like Virgin I also appear on stage as a public speaker to inspire people at events like TEDxTeen NYC, World Merit Day Liverpool and universities all over the world.
With my +7 years experience as a creative copywriter in advertising and marketing I enjoy making campaigns, creative ideas and collaborations with brands. A recent example is my collaboration with KILROY, a travel agency for students and youth. We created a special ticket that they sell on their website: ‘The Backpacker Intern Worldticket‘. It’s the same route that I did and now other people can follow my footsteps (with a discount).
Besides that I write articles for them and create social media posts, like this one. People had to guess where in the world I’m standing. If they got it right they could win that awesome hoodie
Another project I did was with Monsterboard, the international career site. I’ve answered questions of millennials about finding jobs abroad. The video’s will be online soon
