The Backpacker Intern

#Academy

I’m designing an online course to help people land dream jobs abroad. It’s called the ‘Backpacker Intern Academy’ and I’m super excited to share my knowledge, learnings and experience with you. I want to teach you how to follow your passion with the right tools and mindset to embark on the journey of a lifetime.

To make sure I’m creating something that will help you and others, I want to ask you a few questions about the challenges you’re facing in finding work abroad. It will take you less than 3 minutes and can help thousands of people worldwide. I will build the course, based on what you guys want to learn.

Here’s the >> survey link <<

Many thanks in advance for helping out,

Mark van der Heijden

Recommendations from people I’ve worked with:

Daniel Cachandt, Creative Director at Red Bull Austria

“Mark can really give wings to any team, providing a lot of knowledge, being inspirational, creating fresh ideas. Straight to the point. Hard working. Easy going. Pushing things forward. But even better, he is really fun to work with.”

Nawaphon Supawitkul, Activism Officer at Amnesty International Thailand

“Mark is super friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Considering time constraint, we are very impressed with the fact that he carefully crafts the result of work only through a very brief discussion and a pile of policy paper. With expertise, he quickly got the concept idea of our global campaign, cracked and presented it well in the result, which is outstanding yet practical. Surely, he gave us a very powerful tool to continue our work for impact!”

Chester de Vries, Creative Director at LEMZ Amsterdam

“Mark is a sharp thinker, conceptually strong, and he quickly generates original solutions. He thinks freely and out of the box, and he presents with flair and enthusiasm. Mark is ambitious, unwavering, fearless, and he makes jokes that happen to be quite funny haha. Pretty much everything that you look for in a copywriter.”

Josh Harris, Communications Manager at International Medical Corps London

“Mark worked with International Medical Corps UK and brought an incredible amount of ideas and dynamism to the campaign we were working on. The campaign video he helped us write and produced was amongst the most shared and engaged-with content of the whole campaign.
I would recommend Mark as an asset to any brand or campaign.”

    Hi Mark,

You can call it a coincidence or Deja Vu but a week back I was thinking over some way to work with various organisations across the globe and meet people and see new places. Viola!!! today one of my friends shared an article written about you in tripto. I feel like I can relate to your ideas of travel. I think the biggest barrier I find is the restrictions to travel. You have to pay such heavy amounts to travel or the boundaries are restricted, visa denied and so on and so forth. My basic right is also to travel freely across the globe and I want to actively work towards it.

It would be great if i could get in touch with you, maybe some scope to push forward my idea of unrestricted travel. Hoping to hear back from you soon. Regards & keep travelling and exploring.
